Englewood, died on Saturday, April 14, 2018.He worked at Bowater from plant startup until his retirement. Lawrence loved books and was an avid reader. He participated in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. He loved watching movies and getting together with his buddies at the Valley Mart. Lawrence was a longtime member of Englewood United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir and helped to lay the church cornerstone.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Neppie Webb; and a daughter, Jenny Camarata.Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Helen McCaslin Webb of Englewood; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Judy Webb of Newport; grandsons, Josh and Jake Webb of Newport, Bart Camarata of Nashville, and Christopher Camarata and his fianc?©e, Sara Shultz, of Athens; a special great-granddaughter, Isabella Camarata; a sister, Imogene Cochran; a niece Tracey Simpkiss; and a half-brother, Martin Webb.Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 16, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday prior to the service.Family and friends will assemble at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at the funeral home and will proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 10 a.m. committal service.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Englewood United Methodist Church Hymnal Fund, P.O.
